HYCO
2A
The HyCO
2A System requires you to have a basic
understanding of how your fuel system works,
be it carbureted or fuel injected. The Manual
comes with the latest updated
information.
The parts
for the HyCO 2A will run between $75 and $400
depending on what parts you need, where you
get them and if you build them yourself or
buy them already built. The HyCO 2A Manual
give all details to allow you to custom build
a system from scratch. The HyCO 2A takes
about a week to build, or about two days to
assemble and install from the
kit.
1.
When do I add the HyCO 2A
system?
2.
Is a HyCO 2A kit
available?
Q.
When do I add the HyCO 2A
system?
A.
For carbureted vehicles, add the HyCO 2A
system only after you get the basic
Carburetor Enhancer working. Most people do
not bother, once they get the basic
Carburetor Enhancer working, the mileage
gains and the pollution reduction are
sufficient for their needs.
On
carbureted vehicles, the HyCO 2A, installed
with the Carburetor Enhancer with it's
electronic upgrade will double the mileage of
most vehicles (from original mileage). So our
example of 10 mpg is now 20 mpg.
For Fuel
Injection vehicles, add the EFIE before
installing the HyCO 2A.
On Fuel
Injected vehicles, the gain is 50% over
original mileage.

Q.
Is a HyCO 2A kit available?
A.
We do not sell a complete HyCO 2A 'kit'; we
do sell all the components for the HyCO 2A
container itself.
Some of our
customers and distributors don't have the
time to fabricate these custom parts, so we
sell these specific components to help get
installations actually installed quickly and
correctly.
All the
parts listed are engineered to be compatible
with each other and include everything needed
for the HyCO 2A container inside and out.
These components have been fine-tuned over 10
years of research and using feedback from
installations around the world. Everything
else needed for the HyCO 2A system can be
acquired in local stores (hoses, clamps,
valves, etc.)
Available
container components include:
-Plastic
container with lid, with plastic screws and
O-ring
-Bubblers
(need 1 for four cylinder, 2 for six cylinder
and 3 for 8 or more cylinders). Standard
assembly comes with 3 bubblers.
-Float
switch with standoff and shroud
-Plastic
fitting kit, (use plastic fittings when you
use a plastic container)
-vapor
splitter,
-HyCO 2A
Manual
-Latest
version of HyCO 2A Manual Update, (included
free if buying a new HyCO 2A
Manual)
You can look
at the parts by going to:
http://www.eagle-research.com/products/pfuels.html#fshcom
If you want
all the parts, go to the order
form:
http://eagle-research.com/store/
and order
the 'container assembly'
If you want
specific parts, manually calculate the price
and shipping, and email the order to
us.
-Shipping is
10% of purchase price.
We do not
guarantee arrival of any HyCO container that
does not include traceable shipping option
even within the USA and Canada. The postal
service has 'lost' thousands of dollars worth
of our products. We cannot ship by UPS from
our remote mountain location.
Pre-assembly
of HyCO 2A container is optional (and very
recommended); includes drilling all the 17
holes, tapping them to their proper threads
and assembling all the inner components
bubblers, float switch and vapor splitter).
Optional assembly charge is $100. This $100
is not included in the shipping charge
calculation.
The rest of
the HyCO 2A components can be acquired
locally and cost between $150 and $250,
actual price depending on the store. The HyCO
2A Manual and Update detail the additional
parts. To date, the HyCO 2A Manual has never
changed, we just publish an
Update.
If you have
a fuel system that has oxygen sensor feedback
(some carburetors and most fuel injection)
You will require the EFIE device as well. It
comes with installation instructions. You can
also buy (optional) the EFIE Manual for $12
which explains everything about the EFIE
device and how it works.
