HyCO 2DT Manual

Resources:
$10.00

Explains how to install a simple device on turbocharged diesel engines, that increases power about 14%, while reducing fuel consumption about 10%. In a Jetta it increased economy 40%.

Tested by major diesel engine manufacturers on their own dyno's and operated by truck drivers all over the World.

The HyCO 2DT is a different device than the HyCO 2A system. It uses a different process and is designed specifically for turbo-diesels. It will work on turbo-gasoline.

This book was the mockup for an operator's manual and therefore not up to our usual standards for how-to instructions.  We offer it because it is a shame to have this phenomenal technology simply sitting on our shelf, un-used, when truckers NEED to save fuel.

This manual primarily describes, in very general terms, how the Eagle Research HyCo 2DT system works and how it should be installed, with a few options thrown in where needed. It contains very limited descriptions of the some of the parts needed to build the system. From the drawings (no photographs) one could probably come up with a workable unit from scratch but it may be more difficult to find the components and then figure out the unmentioned details than it's worth. Most references made in the manual are to the "big rig" diesels rather than passenger cars and trucks with diesel engines. The topic is fascinating but not something the average home handyman would want to tackle with the information provided in this document. The front page says "How-To build a simple device ...", and that may be technically true, but it is certainly misleading as it doesn't really provide the steps or even a list of components for the actual construction. If you want this AND if there is a kit available then that would be the way to go although it's probably an expensive way to get it done. On the bright side, the perforated polyproplyene ball is offered for sale by Eagle Research and would probably save the builder a considerable amount of time. I probably won't build one of these systems, not because I don't think it will work but because it doesn't give the average person enough detail to actually do what the description says.
