You are absolutely right,
You are absolutely right, about using water. I had an older car, it had a 1970 350 ci Chevrolet truck engine. It had 10, or 10.5:1 compression. I used an aquarium valve, to adjust the amount of water mixed with methanol. I don't know how your design works, mine worked so well. I could get away with, using 87 octain gas.
